You will be
surprised to hear that one can establish a good and successful business in
Eyanchang village. But this is true with the famous Ajean Plaquer.
This guy
has proven that there is a lot of potentials in Eyanchang village through his
commitment to his hand work and hard work. No one would be expected to learn a
trade in the big towns of Cameroon only to go back in the village to practice
it. Yet Ajean Plaquer has proven all who believed you can only practice your
hand work in the towns wrong.
For over
seven years and above, this guy has made a name thanks to his establishment in
Eyanchang and his technical knowhow in the domain of Electrical Welding. He has
moved from just an ordinary welder to a fabricator of agricultural machines
like cassava and corn grinding machines, Palm oil pressing machines be it
motorised or electrical, etc.

He is well
known at the national level in that he is often invited from time to time to
attend seminars of conferences nationwide to share his experience with others
of the same field.
His
customers come from Buea, Kumba, Mamfe, LImbe and neighbouring villages. He has
dedicated his work to the service of farmers and his greatest force remains the
after sales services and usage directions he offers to his customers. He will
not only sell his machines but will train his customers on how to use them and
is always present in times of problems and other complications. In fact he
sells and accompanies his clients as they use his machines.
Apart from
doing his business, Ajean Plaquer has trained many; some who are now operating
their own small workshops in the towns and some still working with him. Who knows
there may be more potentials in this noble village to be discovered.
